Educational information and tools

MarkdownCanDo provides educational content, examples, and browser-based editing tools. The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and the site does not guarantee that every Markdown extension will work on every editor or publishing platform.

Your content and backups

You are responsible for the text you enter and for keeping your own backups. The editor does not store Markdown documents in the cloud. Do not use the site to create or distribute unlawful, harmful, or rights-infringing material.

Temporary image service

You may upload supported images for use in the playground. You confirm that you have the right to use each uploaded image and that it does not contain unlawful, harmful, confidential, or sensitive material. Images are temporary, stop working 24 hours after upload, and are not a backup service. Physical deletion timing is not guaranteed.

Upload size, per-visitor, site-wide, and storage limits may be enforced or changed to protect the service. Uploaded addresses are intended to display only on MarkdownCanDo; cross-site embedding is blocked. MarkdownCanDo may reject or remove files that violate these terms, create risk, or threaten service availability.

Accuracy and compatibility

Examples are tested for this site, but Markdown implementations differ. Verify important output, links, code, diagrams, and formulas in the platform where you intend to publish them.

Third-party services

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience and reference. MarkdownCanDo does not control those services and is not responsible for their availability, content, or policies.

Changes and contact
